Self-acclaimed African giant, Burna Boy has become the first Nigerian artiste to be nominated for the Grammy awards in two consecutive years.
Burna Boy’s recent album, “Twice As Tall” was nominated in the Best Global Music Album category at the 63rd annual Grammy Awards scheduled to hold on January 31, 2021.
KanyiDaily recalls that Burna Boy lost the last Grammy edition to Beninese music legend, Angelique Kidjo, after being nominated in the Best World Music Album category in January 2020.
In October 2020, the Recording Academy announced the renaming of the “Best World Music Album” to “Best Global Music Album.”
