Ibrahim Shamaki: Father Of Abducted Kaduna College Student Dies Of Heart Attack

The father of one of the 39 abducted college students in Kaduna has reportedly died of a heart attack

Ibrahim Shamaki, father of one of the kidnapped students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Mando in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has reportedly died of heart attack.

According to Channels TV, a family sources disclosed that Shamaki died of a heart attack after he fell ill shortly after the news of his daughter’s abduction was broken to him.

It was learnt that he suffered trauma after his daughter, Fatima Ibrahim, was kidnapped alongside 38 other students of the college on March 11, 2021.

Shamaki was said to have later died on Friday evening while his relatives were about to take him to a hospital for further medical treatment.

KanyiDaily had reported how bandits invaded the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in Kaduna and abducted 39 students who have now spent two weeks in captivity.
