Nigerian Twitter Influencer, Tunde Commits Suicide After Tweeting “I Need Money Like Mad”

A Twitter influencer, Tunde has reportedly committed suicide after facing financial difficulties.

A Nigerian Twitter influencer simply identified as Tunde has reportedly committed suicide after crying out that he need financial help.

Tunde was said to have killed himself barely 24 hours after seeking for financial help via his Twitter page on Tuesday.

“I need money like mad, Jesus,” he had written in a terse post which has over 2,000 likes and more than 900 retweets as of the time of this report.

His friends on Twitter alleged that Tunde battled depression due to lack of money before taking his own life on Wednesday.

Nigerians have taken to social media to mourn the young man, with many users stressing the need for people to always check on their friends, and for depressed individuals to speak up.

 

KanyiDaily had also reported how a young Nigerian named Izu Madubueze allegedly committed suicide after being falsely accused of rape by a Twitter influencer identified as Nanichi Anese.
