Buhari and Osinbajo has finally received the AstraZeneca vaccine.

President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday received a shot of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine at the presidential villa, Abuja.

The vaccine was administered to the President by his chief personal physician, Suhayb Sanusi Rafindadi, while the vice-president’s shot was administered by Nicolas Audiferren, his personal physician.

President Buhari urged Nigerians to emulate him and do the same to curb the COVID-19 pandemic in the most populous black nation.

KanyiDaily recalls that Nigeria received 3.94 million doses of the AstraZeneca-Oxford COVID-19 vaccine through the COVID-19 Vaccines Global Assess Facility (COVAX) on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

Following the arrival, the FG announced that COVID-19 vaccination will not be mandatory in Nigeria, adding that nobody will be forced to take any vaccine.

Meanwhile, the National Healthcare Primary Development Agency has released guidelines on how to register for COVID-19 vaccination in Nigeria.
