Wakili’s Men Displaced Millions Of Oyo Residents, Killed 4 People After His Arrest – Gani Adams

Gani Adams has raised the alarm over the killing of four men by those believed to be Iskilu Wakili’s men.

The National Coordinator of the Oodua Peoples Congress, (OPC), Chief Gani Adams, has blamed a notorious Fulani warlord, Iskilu Wakili, for the death of four men at Idiyan village, Igangan, Oyo State.

The four men were reportedly hacked to death around 2am on Monday, one day after Wakili was arrested by the OPC members in Igangan.

Adams, in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Aderemi, alleged that the four men were killed by some persons believed to be Wakili’s men.

The statement indicated that the audio and pictorial evidences at Adams’ disposal revealed that the killers were among those terrorising the village and adjoining environs.

“Wakili men have displaced more than a million residents in the over 10 villages in Oke Ogun. They raped and killed residents at will. The late Alhaja Sherifat and the late Dr. Fatai Aborode and several others were killed and they (hoodlums) are still on rampage till today.

“They have been terrorising our people for more than six years. Wakili was a comedian, pretending to avoid being investigated. He was hale and hearty but started pretending shortly after he was captured.

“It is sad that kidnapping and killing still continue unabated without any clue as to the time it will end. Today, four men were hacked to death at Idiyan village and it is sad and most unfortunate that the police have not been able to unravel the killers till the present time.”

Adams warned criminal herders to stay away from the region, saying that OPC and other local security operatives would continue to ensure that the region is safe for residents.

KanyiDaily had also reported how a Police DPO shot an Amotekun operative for arresting Fulani herdsmen who allegedly destroyed a cassava farm in Oyo.
