Suspectd Fulani herdsmen have reportedly killed at least 36 residents including students of the College of Education in Katsina Ala, Benue State.
According to SaharaReporters, the Fulani herdsmen stormed Shikaan Mbagena Kpav, a TIV community, in the early hours of Thursday, and carried out the massacre.
There are conflicting figures of casualties as some believed the attackers might have killed up to 100 residents.

What have our parents done wrong that they haven’t been able to correct?
What have our brothers & sisters done wrong that they deserve such heartless and inhuman deaths as purnishment?
What have we done wrong that the govt. and law enforcement agency have left us to our fate?

As the killings keep rising and nothing substantial is being done, we all in Benue State and the entire Middle Belt may end up losing our lives, our identity and our land if we fail to rise up now! This is a genocide and must be referred to as such!! #BenueUnderAttack

This comes just a few days after Governor Samuel Ortom has asked Benue people to pick up weapons not prohibited by law for self-defense against Fulani herdsmen.
