Fani-Kayode Reveals Those Behind Kogi Prison Break, Murder Of Security Men

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has revealed those allegedly behind the attack on the Medium Security Custodial Centre (MSCC) in Kabba Local Government Area of Kogi State.

KanyiDaily had reported how heavily armed men stormed Kabba prison, on Sunday night through Monday morning, killing the military men keeping guard on the road before attacking the centre.

After killing two soldiers and wounding several others, the gunmen were said to have opened fire on the prison officers before releasing over 250 inmates from the prison.

Reacting on his Twitter page on Monday, Fani-Kayode said that the Kabba prison break was planned by those trying to undermine and discredit the state governor, Yahaya Bello.

”The prison break & murder of security men in Kogi was contrived. It is a similar plot to the EFCC one,” he wrote.

”Those behind it need to know that when God is with someone nothing can stop him. Trying to undermine & discredit Yahaya cannot work. Those behind it will hear from us soon.”

KanyiDaily recalls that the last prison break in Kogi state was 5 years ago when 13 inmates escaped in Kogi prison break.
