Operatives of the Kano State Hisbah Corps have punished students with ‘immoral hairstyles’ at a secondary school in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of the state.

Hisbah Shave Students’ Hair
In a series of photos shared on its Facebook page, officials of the Islamic police were seen forcefully shaving off the hairs of final-year students of the secondary school.
Hisbah is known for shaving off stylish haircuts of young men in Kano, arresting people for improper dressing, and seizing tricycles from riders for adorning them with pictures considered to be obscene and against the tenents of Islam.
The latest incident, which is not new to Nigerians, has caused outrage on the social media with many people condemning the organisation for the move.
