Former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri is not giving up on his attacks against the presidential candidates of the Labour Party (LP) and that of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu.
Obi is the LP presidential candidate, while Tinubu is of the APC in the 2023 general election.
Reno Omokri Attacks Peter Obi Again
Omokri, who has been a strong critic of both Obi and Tinubu took to his official twitter handle on Sunday afternoon to drag the two men.
According to him, Obi ,who is one of the biggest importers of foreign goods for resale in Nigeria is promising to move the country from consumption to production.
He did not, however, disclose or reveal what foreign goods Obi imports into the country.
What Triggered Reno Omokri’s Comment Against Peter Obi
Omokri’s comment is in reaction to what the former Anambra State governor had said on Saturday night.
Obi had on Saturday, in a felicitation message to the Kenya’s President-elect, William Ruto, said, “Our prayer is that Nigeria’s coming election will usher in a new Nigeria, where productivity will topple consumption in our scale of preference, so that our country will become a better place.”
Continuing, Omokri also took dig at Tinubu. He noted that the former Lagos who can not not solve the mystery behind his own identity is promising to solve that the problems of Nigeria.
“Peter Obi, one the biggest importers of foreign goods for resale in Nigeria is promising to move Nigeria from consumption to production. While Tinubu, who can’t solve the mystery of his own real identity is promising to solve Nigeria’s problems. No be juju be that?,” Omokri tweeted.

Kanyi Daily recalls that Omokri had three months ago, said Peter Obi knows he would be defeated in the presidential poll by any candidate of the APC.
He said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) should not bother giving its ticket to the ex Anambra governor.
Omokri said, “If PDP picks Peter Obi, they should just not waste any money for the general election. Whoever APC picks will defeat him. I know it is not what you guys from the SE want to hear. Even @PeterObi, knows this fact. Oya, insult! It is your work!”
Also, the pastor had tackled Tinubu over his health issue and his personal hygiene.
He had said if Tinubu can not keep his teeth clean, who then will he clean the country when he becomes president.
He however, later apologised for using Tinubu’s health issues to mock him.
