Nigerian Man Raises Alarm Over Fake Naira Notes In Circulation

KanyiDaily recalls that the CBN released the redesigned naira notes on December, 15, 2022.

A few days after the release, a man has alerted Nigerians on circulation of fake N1000 notes.

In a viral video, the man revealed that an unknown customer performed a bank transaction through his wife’s Point of Sale (PoS) using the fake Naira notes.

He noted that the difference between both Naira notes is that the original has a gold seal at the bottom of the right hand side of the note which cannot be erased when scratched.

But the fake one doesn’t have a gold seal at the bottom of the right hand side of the note close to the signatures.
