“I Didn’t Know He Was Married” – Maria Chike Speaks On Relationship With Cubana Chief Priest’s In-Law [Video]

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Maria Chike Benjamin has spoken about her relationship with her lover, Kelvin Anene, a one-time in-law of a celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest.

KanyiDaily recalls that last October, Cubana Chief Priest had accused Maria Chike of snatching his sister’s husband called Kelvin Anene.

Cubana also alleged the reality star was sending threatening messages to the woman, asking her to leave the father of her two children for her (Maria).

The socialite, who also called out Kelvin, slammed Maria for shamelessly showing off the expensive gifts another woman’s husband got for her.

He alleged that his sister gave up on her marriage after she found out that her husband sponsored Maria in BBNaija, and also caught the reality star with her husband in Dubai.

During an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the reality star addressed the controversy surrounding her relationship with Kelvin Anene.

Maria maintained that she did not ruin Kelvin’s marriage because she wasn’t aware that he was married when they started dating.

She further stated that she did not ruin anybody’s home or snatch anybody’s husband, noting that she choose to remain silent about the rumour for the best interest of those involved.

“I wasn’t aware whether or not he was married when we first started dating. What I am going to stand by and that’s the gospel truth is that I didn’t destroy any marriage. I have never and I will never,” she said.
