Tiktoker, Seaking Arrested For Insulting Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu And Egbetokun [Video]

Nigerian TikToker, Seaking has been arrested shortly after posting a video in which he insulted President Bola Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.

The arrest occurred soon after the police issued a statement warning that making offensive remarks or insulting public officials could result in prosecution, emphasizing that such measures are backed by legal provisions.

On Saturday, December 20, Seaking shared the controversial video online, expressing frustration over reports that the police planned to start arresting people who insult government officials.

In his rant, he criticized the authorities for focusing on such actions instead of targeting criminals.

He directed harsh words at IGP Egbetokun and President Tinubu, saying, “The Inspector General of Police said if anyone insults others, such a person should be arrested. It won’t be well with Bola Tinubu. He won’t have peace of mind wherever he is.”

The TikToker also insulted Governor Sanwo-Olu, referring to him as “the Lagos State Governor with the black eye,” and wished him unrest.

He said, “Next is Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State Governor with the black eye. It won’t be well with you, and you won’t have peace wherever you are.”

Seaking extended his criticism to other politicians, blaming them for Nigeria’s struggles and declaring that they would “never know peace.”

“You’re spoiling the country and not being held accountable. None of you politicians will know peace. It won’t be well for all of you who brought Nigeria to this state. You shall experience loss.”

In the video, which quickly went viral, Seaking admitted he was aware the police had declared him wanted. He mocked the authorities, saying, “They said they’re looking for me and have declared me wanted on their platform. Senseless set of people.”

“People like Yahaya Bello, who are destroying the country, are free, yet you declare me wanted. Those stealing money are untouched, but you’re after me.”

However, in a follow-up video circulating online, Seaking appears subdued as he is questioned by security personnel, despite his initial defiance.
