The Oscars Award is celebrating the best in cinema with a night of prestigious wins, moving tributes, and unforgettable performances.

Honoring achievements across 23 categories, the ceremony recognized outstanding filmmaking while also paying tribute to the victims and heroes of the recent Los Angeles wildfires.

The independent film “Anora” emerged as the night’s biggest winner, securing Best Picture along with four other awards.

Directed by Sean Baker, the film follows the story of an exotic dancer entangled with the son of a Russian oligarch.

Mikey Madison won Best Actress for her role in the film, while Sean Baker took home Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Film Editing.

The night opened with a performance by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, stars of Wicked. A James Bond-themed musical tribute, featuring Doja Cat, Lisa of Blackpink, and Raye, captivated the audience.

The 2025 Academy Awards highlighted the evolving landscape of cinema, showcasing diverse storytelling, groundbreaking achievements, and artistic excellence.
