Portable had criticized King Saheed Osupa for having his song removed from streaming platforms, accusing him of being “big for nothing.”

The takedown happened after Portable used a line from Osupa’s song without permission, prompting complaints from the Fuji legend and his distribution team.

As a result, the track was pulled from Apple Music and Spotify.

Reacting to the removal, Portable lashed out, comparing Osupa to fellow Fuji star Pasuma.

He claimed that while he had also borrowed lines from Pasuma’s music, the latter never reported him.

The singer said, “Saheed Osupa, you are big for nothing. If you can’t embrace me, I will drag you. You sing Fuji while I sing hip hop.

“The same way I used a line from your music is the same way I removed three verses from Pasuma. But Pasuma never report my song.

“Keep your distance if you can’t embrace me like the way Pasuma abducted me like his own child. Osupa is a good man.”

However, after facing backlash for his comments, Portable has now expressed regret for insulting Osupa.

In a video shared on Instagram, the singer admitted that his temper got the best of him and pleaded for forgiveness from both his fans and Osupa.

He went on to explain that money was at the root of their disagreement, revealing that he only discovered the takedown when he tried to collect royalties for the song.

My fans, I’m a hot tempered person, I have said my mind and it has ended. My fans please forgive me. King Saheed Osupa Oba orin, please don’t be offended.

“It’s money that causes a fight. It’s money that destroys siblings relationship, and causes a fight between father and son.

“It was music money that caused our fight because it was when I went to collect money for the song that I was told that it has been removed on streaming platforms. Please my daddy, forgive me and abduct me as your child,” he added.

His apology comes after days of criticism from fans who accused him of being disrespectful to the Fuji veteran.
