In a post on X, Elon Musk revealed that he has given Ashley St. Clair $2.5 million and continues to provide $500,000 annually for the child’s support, even though paternity has not been confirmed.
“I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed,” Musk wrote.
“Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”
Elon Musk’s response came after St. Clair was seen selling her Tesla, claiming she had to do so because he allegedly cut her child support payments.
She was spotted outside her Manhattan home selling the luxury vehicle, worth around $100,000, and told reporters the sale was necessary to offset a 60% reduction in support from Musk.
“I’m selling it because I need to make up for the 60% cut that Elon made to our son’s child support,” she said.
St. Clair also hinted at broader financial difficulties, adding, “You can check the stocks, I’m not the only one who is cleaning up after his messes.”
Previously, St. Clair filed a lawsuit seeking sole legal custody of the child, alleging Elon Musk has had little involvement in his life.
“He has met him only three times and has had no involvement in his care and upbringing,” she claimed, adding that he was not present at the child’s birth and has never publicly acknowledged him.
Ashley St. Clair also revealed that their last conversation was on February 13, just a day before she publicly aired her grievances.
“I don’t know why the richest man in the world would do this,” she told reporters,” she said, before adding, “Well, that’s his modus operandi when women speak out.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Elon Musk recently been accused of going silent on Ashley St. Clair, who says she recently gave birth to his child.
