A former Edo State Governor and current senator, Adams Oshiomhole, caused commotion at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
It was gathered that Adams Oshiomhole shut down the Zulu Terminal of the General Aviation Terminal (GAT) at the Lagos airport on Tuesday.
According to reports, the senator showed up late for his flight to Abuja and was told by airline staff that boarding had already closed.
This led to a heated exchange, captured in a now-viral video, where Oshiomhole was seen arguing with airport officials.
Witnesses claimed that after being denied entry to the flight, Oshiomhole became visibly upset and allegedly blocked the terminal entrance, making it difficult for other passengers to access the departure area.
It’s also alleged that he pressured the airline to delay the flight for him, but the request was denied.
At the time of filing this report, neither the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) nor the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has released an official statement on the incident.
