Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has taken part in the ongoing local government elections by casting his vote on Saturday.

The governor arrived alongside his wife, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, at polling units 06 and 07, located at St. Stephen Nursery and Primary School on Adeniji Adele Road, Lagos Island.
Sanwo-Oku got there around 11:00 AM, and they voted at 11:28 AM.
The atmosphere at the polling unit was calm and organized, with the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) officials, managing the process while security officers maintained order.
The election is being held across all 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state, to fill positions for chairman, vice-chairman, and councillor.
KanyiDaily had reported that voting was delayed in parts of Agboyi-Ketu during the Lagos LGA elections on Saturday, as the late arrival of party agents disrupted proceedings at several polling units.
