Tinubu Sacks Christopher Musa As Chief Of Defence Staff, Appoints New Military Heads

President Bola Tinubu has made a reshuffle among Nigeria’s Service Chiefs as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the country’s national security framework.

The announcement was made in a statement released on Friday in Abuja by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare.

According to the statement, Olufemi Oluyede has been appointed as the new Chief of Defence Staff, succeeding General Christopher Musa.

W. Shaibu is now the Chief of Army Staff, SK Aneke takes over as Chief of Air Staff, and I. Abbas becomes the new Chief of Naval Staff.
