A young boy has been left stranded on his own after bandits attacked his family while they were travelling in Niger State.
Security journalist DanKatsina reported that the incident happened in Niger State.
According to him, the boy was on the road with his parents between Bangi and Mangoro in Mariga Local Government Area when gunmen struck.
During the attack, his father was killed and his mother was taken away by the assailants.
The child is now said to be in Mangoro, waiting and hoping that family members will recognise him from photos shared online and come to take him home.
