Lady Rejects ₦2.5m Bribe After Accusing Rivers LGA Chairman Of Assault

Winnie Miller, the lady who accused the chairman of Ahoada Local Government Area in Rivers State, Cheta Epelle, of assaulting her, has rejected ₦2.5 million that was paid into her bank account.

Winnie Miller previously alleged that Epelle sent thugs to attack her after she posted a video showing the poor condition of Community Secondary School in Odioku.

In a new post shared on Facebook, Miller said N2.5m was sent by the LGA chairman as what she described as a “bribe and compensation” following the alleged attack.

The lady said she never agreed to receive any form of compensation and insisted that she cannot be bribed.

Miller also explained that she has been trying to send the money back to the account it came from, but has not been able to do so yet due to network problems with the bank.
