In a video shared online, Scott Iguma narrated how a man driving an SUV allegedly attacked a commercial bus driver after a disagreement on the road.
He explained that the issue started when the SUV driver tried to overtake the bus, but the bus driver did not give way.
According to him, both vehicles continued moving, and there was no crash between them.
Iguma said the situation worsened when the SUV driver moved ahead, stopped his vehicle, and confronted the bus driver.
He claimed the man brought out an object similar to a pestle from his car and used it to break one of the bus windows, injuring some passengers in the process.
Iguma also alleged that the SUV driver physically assaulted and dragged the bus driver before passersby stepped in to stop the fight.
He questioned why such an object was in the vehicle and described the incident as alarming.
Scott Iguma further said the vehicle’s plate number was traced to Zenith Bank, adding that the car is reportedly registered in the bank’s name.
However, he made it clear that this does not automatically mean the bank was involved in what happened.
Some of the injured passengers were said to have visited the bank’s head office to confirm the vehicle’s ownership, although it is still uncertain whether the driver has any direct link to the organisation.
Iguma called on the Lagos State Police Command and the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad to carry out a full investigation and hold anyone responsible accountable.
He also renewed calls for better CCTV coverage on Lagos roads to help prevent and properly record similar incidents in the future.
KanyiDaily recalls that Scott Iguma recently criticized the Lagos government over the poor condition of a primary health centre designated for pregnant women and children.
