Three People Dead, Many Injured As Trailer Crashes In Ibadan
At least three people were killed in a fatal accident that happened when a trailer came down from the busy Beere Roundabout in Ibadan, Oyo State.

It was gathered that the vehicle’s brakes failed, leading to the crash which also left many people injured.
The truck lost control after passing through Oja’Oba and went out of control as it got to Beere Junction.
It then crashed into cars, motorcycles, and people along the road, causing serious damage, injuries, and loss of lives.
The worst impact was reported at Iso-Osan (also known as Orange Market), where the trailer caused major destruction.
Security officials quickly arrived at the scene and are working to keep the situation under control.
The bodies of those who died have been taken to a morgue, while injured victims have been moved to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Speaking to Channels Television, the Oyo State Police spokesperson, DSP Olayinka Alayande, confirmed that lives were lost in the incident but said the exact number of victims is still unknown.
He said, “It’s sadly true, but we cannot yet confirm how many lives were lost, as it is still an active crime scene.
“However, the Divisional Police Officer for Mapo is coordinating responders to restore calm and normalcy in the area at the moment.”
