Daphne Joy has spoken out about a controversial sex tape involving herself, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and adult film actor Sly Diggler.
She shared a detailed statement on her Instagram Story on June 1, though it was taken down not long after.
In the post, Joy said the situation left her deeply hurt, claiming the video was recorded without her consent while she was still in a relationship with Diddy.
Without directly naming Diddy, she described that period as emotionally draining, saying she went beyond her personal limits to please someone she cared about.
Joy admitted she made choices she now regrets, explaining that she wanted to keep her partner happy, even if it meant ignoring her own boundaries.
“Everybody plays the fool sometimes, and I have been the biggest fool. I just wanted my man at the time to be happy and satisfied… I wanted to fulfill all his desires … even if that meant breaking my own boundaries,” she said.
Daphne Joy also opened up about her feelings toward the relationship, saying she truly believed there was love, but now sees things differently and finds it painful to accept what really happened.
“I deeply loved him … and I believed he loved me too. It’s still so painful for me to process the harsh reality and truth of that relationship… I realize that it was far from love,” she said.
50 Cent’s baby mama further alleged that after the recording, someone tried to use the footage to make money.
According to her, the video was eventually sold to a major media outlet, which decided not to release it after concluding it was linked to revenge porn and extortion.
Joy said she was shocked when the outlet contacted her about the tape, describing the moment as overwhelming.
“The media outlet called me one day and said they had the tape. It was the first time I ever fainted in my life,” she said.
Joy emphasized her self-worth saying “I am precious, I am special, I am worthy. This is the first time that I have ever felt a part of my own body and that my body belongs to me.”
The sex tape began circulating online over the weekend and is said to be about 40 minutes long.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent, who shares a son with Joy, reacted saying he does not see Daphne Joy as a victim and expressed concern about how the situation could affect their child.
“She’s not a victim, SIRE is. Can you imagine going to eighth grade to find out this is your mom. The court system in LA thinks it’s fine, ” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
