Popular Lagos Socialite, Pretty Mike Arrested By Police For Flouting COVID-19 Protocols
Lagos State Police Command has arrested a popular socialite, Mike Eze better known as Pretty Mike, over alleged breaching of COVID-19 protocols by Cubana Nightclub.
According to The Nation, Pretty Mike was apprehended following weekend’s arrest of 172 workers and clubbers at the Victoria Island branch of the nightclub.
He was alleged had gone to the Bar Beach Police Division on Thursday morning to bail his worker who were arrested at the nightclub.
Although he denied being a director in the the Cubana club, the police had vowed to arrest the club owners or anyone who came forward to push the reopening of the night club.
Confirming his arrest, Commissioner of Police (CP) Hakeem Odumosu said Eze would be charged to court in Ikeja.
“Yes, we have arrested him and I have directed he be transferred to Ikeja where he would be charged to court,” said Odumosu.
KanyiDaily had reported how Pretty Mike stormed the wedding of Nollywood actor, Williams Uchemba, with an entourage of six heavily pregnant women.
