Islamist militant group Boko Haram bombed two police divisional headquarters and raided a bank in the town of Azare in Bauchi state on Sunday according to eyewitnesses.
Residents said the attacks which killed three people and injured several policemen last four hours.
The islamist militant group began firing heavy weapons and bombing police units as they arrived in a convoy of cars and heavy weapons on Sunday.
