MaxOkada, is an initiative of Metro Africa Express, which is an urban logistics firm responsible for the creation of MaxNG, which was launched in 2015 by two graduates of MIT, Adebayo Bamiduro and Chinedu Azodoh.

MaxOkada started as MaxGo as in and they were able to capture the market with their philosophy which claims they can “help save Lagos commuters 6 hours of their time daily and 180 hours in a month, especially the time spent in traffic, through the provision on access to reliable, safe and affordable transport with just the click of a button on an app on their phones.”

They also have a Street Hail feature, which allows users to connect with a MAXOkada in their location without the use of the app.
