Bayelsa Election: Soldiers Allegedly Protecting APC, Intimidating PDP Members 1

Nigerian Soldiers deployed across Bayelsa, have been accused of protecting APC Chieftains, and intimidating People especially PDP members.

The Federal Government had directed all government officials in Bayelsa to withdraw all their security details, however, some soldiers have been sighted guarding APC chieftains.

About 50 soldiers were sighted guarding Chief Rex Ogbuku, an APC Chieftain in Imiringi and Mr. Maxwell Okoh In Otuasega, while intimidating PDP voters.

We also gathered that electoral materials have been carted away from Eneware by armed APC personals.
