Young, 50, filed documents seeking to end her marriage with Dr. Dre, 55, in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, June 29, 2020.

She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and is seeking spousal support from Dr. Dre, who is one of the most successful musicians in history, and recently sold his stake in ‘Beats’ headphones for billion of dollars.

According to TMZ, Dre and Young do not have a prenup, so they will have to figure out how to split ‘his’ massive $800 Million fortune as reported by Forbes.

Dr. Dre reportedly met Young in the mid-1990s while she was still married to then-husband Sedale Threatt. At the time, Dre reportedly penned a romantic letter to Young, convincing her to leave Threatt and pursue a relationship with him instead.

The couple, who later got married in 1996, has two adult children, 23-year-old son Truice and 19-year-old daughter Truly.

Dr. Dre also has four children from previous relationships: daughters Tyra Young and La Tanya Danielle Young as well as sons Marcel and Curtis. His son Andre Young Jr. died at age 20 in 2008.

KanyiDaily recalls that in 2019, Forbes has released their list of the top-earning musicians of the decade and Dr. Dre topped the list with a whopping $950 million over the last 10 years.
