Many Injured, Properties Burnt In Gas Tanker Explosion At Ajuwon Iju-Ishaga Road, Lagos [Video]

Scores of people were on Thursday evening injured, properties burnt in Gas tanker explosion at Ajuwon Iju-ishaga road, Lagos State.

The spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Agency, Nosa Okunbor, who confirmed the incident, urged residents to stay calm as LASEMA Response Team is at Cele Bus Stop, Iju Ishaga.

Twitter users have shared series of videos showing the explosion.

KanyiDaily recalls that yesterday a fuel tanker ran into an oncoming vehicles after the brake failed around Felele area of Lokoja, Kogi State.

About 23 lives, including students of the state polytechnic and primary school pupils, died in the blaze, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed.
