The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has declared in an online campaign to redeem their image that they are not a “collection of angels”.
This is coming following the nationwide #EndSARS protests against the SARS police tactical unit over its brutality, illegal arrest, extortion, extra-judicial killings, among others.
In a bid to rebuild trust with Nigerian citizens, the NPF has posted a flyer on its Twitter page, saying they are not angels, but are trying to serve people better.
“We are not a collection of angels, but we are doing our best to serve you better” the message read.
