The Bullion Van was departing Blenco Supermarket located in Addo Road Ajah.

A bullion van was ambushed and robbed in broad daylight in Lagos State.

The ugly incident happened in Addo Road, Ajah at about 3.50pm today Thursday, November 12, 2020.

The daredevil robbers ambushed the bullion van, shot repeatedly, and gained access to the vault.

The Bullion Van was departing Blenco Supermarket located in Addo Road Ajah.

The supermarket has some ATM machines in the premises though Kanyi Daily News cannot verify which of the banks currently operates the ATM machines.

The robbers made away with a large sum of money and scattered the rest on the road.

There was heavy gridlock on the road as people were reportedly picking up money on the road.

The robbers fled through the lagoon.

Residents are advised to exercise caution and stay safe.

Meanwhile, a popular pastor in Anambra State was allegedly caught with charms, fetish items in his church. The pastor was stripped and paraded by the villagers in Umunze, Anambra.

In other news, bandits are reportedly demanding “Harvest Fees” from farmers before they can be allowed to harvest their farm produce in Zamfara State.

According to BBC Hausa, Zamfara farmers were forced to pay bandits sum money to allow them access to their farms at the beginning of the planting season this year.

Now that it’s time to harvest their crops, the bandits are once again demanding as much as N900,000 from farmers in certain villages before they will be allowed to harvest.
