Murtala Gwarmai, senior special assistant on youth development to Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, has distributed 12 donkeys and other items to empower youths of the state.
The distribution reportedly took place at the premises of the state’s ministry for youths and sports development, with over 40 beneficiaries.
During the event, Gwarmai reportedly said the beneficiaries requested the donkeys to aid them in transporting sand, gravel, and blocks so as to boost their business.
The governor’s aide also shared motorcycles, bicycles, cash prizes worth N100,000, building blocks and roofing sheets among others
Those who attended the event include the state’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Kabiru Ado Lakwaya, Senior Special Assistant on Youth II, Ibrahim Ahmad, and other top officials in the ministry.
