According to Tuko.co.ke, the DCI operatives were deployed from Central Police Station on Monday with a clear order to arrest Musumba over alleged corruption.

However, upon spotting the law enforcement officers at the executive wing of the City Hall, the corrupt politician dramatically fled by jumping through the window and vanishing into thin air.

Musumba switched off his phone thereafter, but Central Police OCPD Adamson Bungei said that the cops are on his radar, adding that even if he runs, he can’t hide.

The police said, “We are looking for him (Jairus Musumba), he won’t escape from us, he must be brought to book as soon as possible.”

Bungei also urged the fleeing county official to voluntarily submit himself to the police because once he is on their raider, they will deploy all possible means to arrest him to answer for the alleged corrupt offences.

KanyiDaily had also reported how angry residents subjected their politicians to the most humiliating experience ever, for failing to honour his campaign promises.
