2023: Shehu Sani Sends Strong Message To North West, South East

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central in the Senate, Shehu Sani has passed a strong message to the North West and South East regions of the country concerning the 2023 general elections.

Shehu Sani Speaks On Implication Of Insecurity In North West, South East

Taking to his official twitter handle on Wednesday afternoon, Sani said the two regions should take note of insecurity in their domains.

According to him, the two zones should know that where elections can not hold as a result of insecurity or threats, results are written to fill the vacuum.

Sani, who has been vocal about issues in the country, said no electoral officer with family to feed or corps member with a future ahead of him will go and sit under a tree waiting for electorates to vote, when his or her life is not secured.

He then called on those who desire to vote to rise up against those who do not want elections to take place.

“Where elections can’t hold because of insecurity or threats, results are written to fill the vacuum;North West and South East take note,” he tweeted.

“No electoral officer with family to feed or Youth corper with a future ahead of him will go and sit under a tree waiting for electorates to vote, when his or her life is not secured. Those who want to vote must rise up against those who don’t want anyone to vote.”

The North West region of the country is boiling with activities of bandits and kidnappers, while South East is threatened by activities of unknown gunmen who attack and destroy government institutions.

In other news, Kanyi Daily had reported that Shehu Sani had appealed to Nigerian students not to drag the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) or the Federal government to court over the prolonged strike.

According to him, if the students do that, only God knows when the strike would end, arguing that dialogue should be deployed to end the industrial dispute.
