Four friends are currently cooling their heels in the custody of the Delta State Police Command for conspiring and murdering one Uguru Dominic and his friend.

This was disclosed by the Spokesman of the command, Bright Edafe in a tweet on his handle on Monday morning.

Edafe said the four friends who committed the crime on November 16, are Ogadinma Francis, Goodnews Abaje, Obunwa Kasim, and Bright Osifo

According to him, one of the suspects Ogadinma Francis claimed that the deceased refused to pay him the sum of N20,000 after carrying out a filling job for him.

The police image maker revealed that Francis then conspired with his friends, and went to his house to rob him.

The tweet reads, “One of the suspects Ogadinma Francis claimed that the deceased refused to pay him the sum of #20,000 after carrying out a filling job for him.

“He then conspired with his friends and went to his house to rob him. They tied them up till about 4:30 am and forced the deceased to transfer N36,000 to the account of Bright Osifo before killing them.

“Investigation is ongoing.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that Detectives of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Lagos State Command, have arrested a 28-year-old female serial kidnapper, Joy Kolapo.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday night by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin.

Hundeyin said the arrest of Kolapo followed a painstaking investigation and intelligence gathering into the abduction of a three-year-old boy, Bright, on October 27, 2022, in the Ejigbo area of the state.
