The Lagos State Police Command has solicited assistance from members of the public to help a rescued boy locate his parents.

This was made known by the Spokesman of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin in a tweet on his handle on Wednesday evening.

Hundeyin said the boy was rescued as he was about to be abandoned by his abductor.

According to him, the boy who gave his name as Emmanuel Timilehin Adeleke is under treatment as he is still incoherent.

The police image maker noted that from the little he could mutter, he was abducted in Jakande, Ikotun area on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

The boy, Hundeyin said looks between 11 and 14 years old.

He wrote, “RESCUED PERSON: This person was rescued as he was about to be abandoned by his abductor. He is under treatment and is still incoherent. From the little he could mutter, he was abducted in Jakande, Ikotun area on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

“He gave his name as Emmanuel Timilehin Adeleke. He keeps giving different names and addresses to his parents. He looks between 11 and 14 years old. Any information that would assist in locating and identifying his parents/guardians would be appreciated.”

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that the Osun police command had sought help to locate the family of a lost-and-found 7-year-old boy who was denied everywhere.
