Public workers in Anambra State are in a happy mood after Governor Chukwuma Soludo announced a 10% increment in their salary.

Anambra Workers Get 10% Salary Increase From Gov. Soludo

The new increment will take effect from January 2023.

Soludo announced this during the 2022 Public Service Day at the Jerome Udoji State Secretariat Complex, Awka.

The governor also announced N15,000 Christmas bonus across board to enable the workers to buy some foodstuff for their families.

Reports say in the five areas of deliverables of the Soludo administration, he maintained that the state will never be run by criminals as he is flushing them out and dismantling their operations including the sit-at-home that cripples public service and the state economy.

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo recently hinted that some personnel of the force are colluding with criminal elements to sabotage efforts of the navy at curbing illegal bunkering and crude oil theft in the country.
