Wizkid Teases Upcoming Album, Says He Has Enough Music To Retire [Video]

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Wizkid has ignited excitement among fans as he hints at an upcoming music project.

During a recent interview with Capital XTRA, the Grammy-winning artist revealed that he has a new album ready to be released.

Wizkid also made a bold statement about his prolific musical output, stating that he has produced enough music to consider retiring.

Expressing his appreciation for the growth and success of African music, Wizkid acknowledged everyone who has supported the movement.

He also revealed that fans can anticipate a new song dropping in the coming days, building anticipation for the release of his new album.

The singer said, “It is amazing to see how far African music has come, big shout out to everyone supporting the movement.

“I have got a new album ready to go, a new Wiz album. I am dropping a new song next week, in a couple of days.

“I have enough music to retire, we are recording everyday so imagine how much music I have now.

“I love the recording, the performing, I love everything to be honest. I have built my life around this for years, this is the only way I know.”
