Uti Nwachukwu Reacts As American Chef Accuses Him Of Impersonation And Fraud [Video]

Nollywood actor, Uti Nwachukwu has addressed accusations of impersonation and fraud leveled against him by American chef, Anthony Thomas.

The chef, using the platform X (formerly Twitter), made a series of claims against Uti, alleging that the actor created an account in his name and impersonated him.

Chef Anthony shared a screenshot of Uti’s photo and accused him of creating a fake Instagram page, soliciting money from people through Google Play gift cards.

He wrote: “This bastard made a fake IG page with many of my photos. He began requesting my friends as well. He then had the audacity to start begging them for money on Google Play gift cards. Someone sent me the page. I called him on IG, and he answered….”

Reacting to these allegations, Uti Nwachukwu took to his Instagram story to share a throwback video from October 19, claiming that the clip has been exploited by scammers.

The actor also pointed out the discrepancies in the photo and video, suggesting that someone else might be using his images to perpetrate scams.

Uti emphasized the need to refrain from defending fraudsters when they are apprehended, urging caution against sympathizing with individuals engaged in fraudulent activities.

The actor highlighted the deceptive tactics employed by scammers and cautioned against becoming victims of such merciless schemes.

He wrote: “PLEASE VIEW MY STORIES TO SEE THE VIDEO THE SCAMMER USED TO ANSWER THE CHEF’s CALL.

“And it’s another one ! So as u can see this Person has clearly screen-grabbed my photo or video and is obviously using another Phone To record that screen grab while answering the phone. Just look at the edges on the photo….. now look at the video the scammer is blocking. .. Deep in the Slums! I wish the Victim had added the Audio so we hear this Bastad voice.
