Former senator, Dino Melaye has reacted to the ongoing rivalry between Nigerian Afrobeats singers, Wizkid and Davido.
In a post shared on his X page, Dino Melaye claimed that Davido holds the mantle as the undisputed leader of the Nigerian music scene and enjoys most global commercial success.
He tweeted, “Davido is undoubtedly the 001 in the Nigerian music industry and undoubtedly the most patronised globally.”
This statement comes amidst recent heated exchanges between Wizkid and Davido on social media, where the two megastars have been engaged in a public spat.
Davido even went as far as challenging Wizkid to a hit battle, but as of yet, there has been no response from the Starboy boss.
