Reactions As 2Face’s New Lover Natasha Osawaru Adopts “Idibia” As Her Surname

Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, who is engaged to Nigerian music star Innocent “2face” Idibia, has adopted “Idibia” as her surname.

This decision comes shortly after 2face’s estranged wife, Annie Idibia, made headlines for dropping the surname and reverting to her maiden name, Annie Uwana Macaulay, in a recent Instagram post.

Natasha Osawaru recently updated her Instagram bio to read “Honourable Natasha Idibia,” fueling speculation about the depth of her relationship with the singer.

Fans will recall that 2Baba proposed to Natasha in February in a widely circulated video, following the confirmation of his separation from Annie.

Since then, the couple has been spotted together on several occasions, including shopping trips.

The Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly has new removed her father’s surname, Osawaru, from her social media profile, replacing it with “Idibia” in bold capital letters.

Her decision has sparked rumors of a possible secret marriage, which she and 2Baba briefly addressed during a recent shopping trip at businessman Seyi ‘Seyivodi’ Adekunle’s boutique.

Natasha’s name change has stirred controversy on social media, especially as it coincides with Annie’s decision to drop the same surname.

Online reactions have been mixed, with some applauding the move and others questioning the timing.

Meanwhile, Annie Macaulay has made her first public appearance following her split from 2face Idibia.
