President Bola Tinubu has departed Abuja to visit three states as part of his activities for the festive period.

In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President left Abuja on Saturday for visits to Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos states.
During his stop in Borno State, Tinubu is expected to inaugurate several projects carried out by the state government under Governor Babagana Zulum, in collaboration with the Federal Government.
He will also attend the wedding of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State governor and senator, Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Maiduguri, the President will travel to Bauchi, where he will pay a condolence visit to the Bauchi State Government and the family of the late Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, who passed away on November 27.
Afterwards, Tinubu will proceed to Lagos to spend the end-of-year holidays. While in the city, he is expected to take part in several events, including serving as guest of honour at the Eyo Festival on December 27.
The festival, which will be held at Tafawa Balewa Square, will celebrate notable personalities such as the President’s mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, alongside former Lagos State governors Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
