Terrorists Brutally Flogs NSCDC Officer After Kidnapping Him In Ekiti [Video]

A serving officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has been kidnapped by suspected terrorists in Ekiti State.

A troubling video circulating online shows the NSCDC officer being beaten while begging for his life.

Social commentator and activist Rinu Oduala who shared the video on X, criticized the lack of action from security agencies several days after the abduction.

Oduala said the officer was filmed by his captors while being assaulted and noted that no rescue effort had been publicly reported.

“A NSCDC officer has been reportedly kidnapped in Ekiti, Nigeria by terrorists who released this video brutally beating him. Till now, security agencies are yet to launch a search for him,” she wrote.

The video shows gunmen believed to be terrorists forcing the officer to face forward while repeatedly hitting him with a cane.

The officer is visibly distressed, crying and pleading for mercy.

“I don dey look. Sorry, I use Allah beg you,” he is heard saying in pidgin English as the attackers continue to beat him.

Authorities have not disclosed the exact location of the incident in Ekiti, and details surrounding how the abduction took place remain unclear.
