Senator Abubakar Danso Sodangi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, has passed away.
Sources confirm that the former senator, who represented Nasarawa West in the National Assembly for 12 years, died on Sunday, March 10, at the age of 70.
Senator Sodangi played a significant role in politics, notably serving as the Chairman of the Campaign Council for the re-election of Governor Abdullahi Sule in 2023.
His political career included being elected as Senator in the Nasarawa West Constituency of Nasarawa State in May 1999, with subsequent re-elections in 2003 and 2007.
