Broke Twitter: The selfie taken by Bradley Cooper broke the Twitter record for a retweet and disrupted service
The Simpsons creator Matt Groening shared a wider cartoon version of the famous Oscars selfie. The 60-year-old animator posted the image showing a cartoon version of picture-taker Bradley Cooper pushing the back of Homer’s head away with his heel while the stars smiled behind him.
‘The ugly true story of that Oscar selfie can finally be told! Let’s break Twitter again. Look for Bart,’ read a tweet with the photo posted to the official Homer J. Simpson account.
The original version of the selfie has been retweeted more than three million times and easily beat the previous record-holding picture of Barack Obama and his wife.which was retweeted 782,000 times.
