Some youths have gone on rampage in Osogbo, capital of Osun State, over alleged killing of three suspected internet fraudsters by officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
It was gathered that the suspected Yahoo Boys were involved in an ghastly accident on Tuesday afternoon, during a hot chase by the SARS operatives on Oba Adesoji Aderemi East road.
According to reports, the young men were riding in their car when the SARS officers attempted to stop them aftet being trailed from the Osun Mall.
The young men refused to stop and the SARS officers engaged them in a hot chase. The driver of the car veered off the road and hit an electric pole.
While three of the men were said to have died immediately in the accident, the fourth occupant of the car sustained serious injury and was rushed to the hospital.
The incident has brought about a serious uproar and pandemonium in the community as residents, especially youths, took to the streets to protest and register their grievances.
The aggrieved youths dumped one of the corpses in front of Osun Government House, and they also set ablaze a police patrol van belonging to the Joint Task Force at Alekuwodo area of the city.
The protesters also targeted police operatives in the area and disrupted free flow of traffic around Oke-Fia, Ola-Iya, Alekuwodo, Odi-Olowo axis, and Ilobu road.

The incident have also sparked protest on social media with many calling on the Federal Government to do something about the incessant harassment of young men by SARS and other security agencies.
