CJN Tanko’s two sons have clinched National Assembly tickets for the 2023 elections.

Two sons of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, have clinched the tickets of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to contest National Assembly seats in the 2023 general elections.

Siraj Ibrahim Tanko won the APC ticket for the Bauchi North Senatorial seat after defeating other aspirants, including the incumbent Senator, Adamu Bulkachuwa, who garnered zero vote.

while another son of the CJN, Sani Ibrahim Tanko clinched the PDP ticket for the House of Representatives seat for Shira Giafe Federal Constituency.

Unlike his brother, Sani was elected unopposed during the primaries.

KanyiDaily recalls that Mohammed Abacha, the son of former military leader, General Sani Abacha, also won the PDP governorship ticket in Kano State.
