The sad news of his death was confirmed by movie producer, Stanley Nwoko via his Instagram page on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Nwoko expressed his condolences, stating, “I regret to announce the passing of a veteran actor, late Mr Zulu Adigwe. What caused his death is yet to be reviewed. Rest in peace good actor.”
At the time of filing this report, the cause of his death is still unknown.
Zulu Adigwe, known for his role as Pascal Nworie in Ramsey Nouah’s remake of the classic “Living in Bondage,” had a diverse educational background.
The late actor studied Medicine at the University of Austria, but later redirected his focus to Theatre Arts after returning to Nigeria following his father’s passing. He pursued Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan.
Throughout his career, Adigwe graced the screens in many movie productions, including “Blood of the Orphan,” “Blood Diamonds,” “Face of a Liar,” “Unforgettable,” “Issakaba,” and “Forbidden Land.”
Zulu Adigwe’s death comes barely two weeks after another actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, also known as Jnr Pope, died following a boat accident.
