Nigerian socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has been named the Imo State director of the City Boy Movement (CBM).

The group, which is made up largely of young supporters backing President Bola Tinubu’s second-term ambition, shared the news on its Instagram page.
CBM described Cubana Chief Priest as someone with strong influence and leadership skills, saying he would help drive support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda in Imo.
“Cityboy Movement appoints Pascal C. Okechukwu (Cubana Chiefpriest), who stands as a symbol of dedication, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment to the growth of the City Boy Movement,” the statement reads.
“As the Imo State Director, he brings experience, influence, and a people-centred approach to mobilising support, strengthening party structures, and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“With a clear vision for progress and unity, Imo State remains firmly positioned for inclusive development, effective leadership, and sustained political engagement. Together, we move forward stronger, focused, and united.”
Earlier in February, Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son, handed Obi Cubana a letter confirming his appointment as the South-East director of the City Boy Movement.
KanyiDaily recalls that Cubana Chief Priest recently reacted to criticism over his decision to support the APC’s City Boys Movement, as preparations begin for the 2027 elections.
