Nigerian Soldiers Allegedly Assaults Young Lady Because She Refused To Greet Them [Video]

Men of the Nigerian Army have been accused of assaulting a young lady identified as Olaide Oluwo at Sangotedo Area, Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State.

In a viral video, the victim, who appears to have swelling bruises on her arm – allegedly inflicted from a ‘Koboko’ used by the unidentified soldiers – can be seen pouring her heart out in front of the officers.

She said the incident happened yesterday evening when she was walking down the road, and didn’t notice the military presence until one of them ran after her and flogged her mercilessly.

The lady said that when the soldiers were confronted by some passersby, they unapologetic admitted to flogging her because she failed to show courtesy by greeting them.

Narrating the incident on her Twitter page, the lady wrote:

“This happened to me around 5pm. I did nothing to these people ..I didn’t even look at them until one of them flogged me ! I was walking and this guy insulted me ran after me and then flogged me with koboko! When people confronted them they said it’s cuz I didn’t greet them”.
